From Korea to China: Why AUTOCUT Chose Slabyte as Its Strategic Partner
Who Is AUTOCUT?
Before the cooperation officially began, the Slabyte team already knew one thing clearly:
In the Korean market, AUTOCUT was not just another ordinary film-cutting company.
AUTOCUT has spent years focusing on automotive window tint and PPF pre-cut solutions in South Korea, building a strong reputation among professional installers and automotive film shops. Unlike companies that only sell hardware, AUTOCUT emphasizes the complete workflow of digital film cutting — including software, pattern data, installation efficiency, and long-term operational stability.
According to public information, AUTOCUT has accumulated:
- Over 15 years of industry experience
- More than 800 installation shops using its systems in Korea
- Hundreds of thousands of real cutting records
- A workflow centered around 3D precision scanning and practical installation logic
What impressed Slabyte even more was AUTOCUT’s philosophy toward precision and real-world usability.
Rather than simply pursuing speed, AUTOCUT focuses heavily on:
- Accurate pattern development
- Stable cutting performance
- Flexible installation margins
- Easy operation for installers
- Long-term efficiency improvement for film shops
Its systems are designed not only for experienced technicians, but also for businesses looking to standardize operations and reduce dependence on manual cutting skills.
On the hardware side, AUTOCUT also developed multiple professional cutting solutions, including the RXII series and F1612 flatbed cutter, both known in the Korean market for stability, cutting precision, and high-speed operation.
For Slabyte, this visit was never just about “selling machines.”
It was about meeting a company that truly understood the future direction of intelligent film cutting.
Why Becoming a Slabyte Distributor Is Not Easy
In the automotive film equipment industry, many brands focus on rapid distributor expansion.
But Slabyte has always taken a different approach.
For Slabyte, a distributor is not simply a sales channel. More importantly, they are a long-term partner representing the brand in the local market. Because of this, the company maintains very strict standards when granting exclusive distribution rights.
Slabyte does not offer regional exclusivity simply because of short-term purchase volume.
Instead, the company pays closer attention to:
- Local market influence
- Professional service capability
- Technical support ability
- Long-term business planning
- Customer reputation within the industry
Because Slabyte understands that a strong distributor is not only capable of selling machines, but also capable of supporting customers and helping the local market grow steadily over time.
For this reason, very few companies are able to obtain Slabyte exclusive distributor authorization.
At the same time, however, Slabyte’s support for its distributors is equally strong.
Once an exclusive partnership is officially established, Slabyte will actively transfer related Korean customer inquiries and local business opportunities to the authorized distributor throughout the cooperation period.
This is not simply a business arrangement.
It is a form of market protection and long-term support.
Slabyte wants its distributors to build their own local market system, rather than relying entirely on the manufacturer to close every customer directly.
For many partners, this “local customer priority” policy is even more valuable than the authorization itself.
Because it means the distributor is not only receiving the right to sell the brand —
they are receiving real market support behind it.

A Partnership Built on Long-Term Trust
For Slabyte, this cooperation was never simply about selling machines or expanding into another market.
More importantly, it was about finding a partner that truly understands the future of intelligent film cutting and is capable of growing together in the local market over the long term.
From the first online communication, to the face-to-face meeting in China, factory visits, technical discussions, and final business negotiations, both Slabyte and AUTOCUT demonstrated strong mutual trust and a highly aligned vision for future development.
For Slabyte, an exclusive distributor is not only a sales partner, but also a representative of the brand within the local market.
Because of this, Slabyte has always maintained a strict distributor protection policy.
During the cooperation period from April 21, 2026 to April 21, 2027, all customer inquiries and purchase requests from South Korea received directly by Slabyte Headquarters will be officially transferred to AUTOCUT Korea, the authorized Korean distributor, for local communication, follow-up, and business support in accordance with Slabyte’s distributor protection policy.
This mechanism is an important part of Slabyte’s long-term distributor protection system and will be strictly followed throughout the cooperation period.
